LBM 7: Nivek's VisitorNivek sat on his bed for what felt like an eternity. Web's corpse had faded from existence quite a long time ago, a convenient side-effect of the Respawn Machine, but the Jedi could not help but stare at the dent in the wall and the floor beneath it. In reality, the webhead's impact had created a small indentation in the wall; barely noticable. But to Nivek, it was a gaping maw. The scene kept replaying in his head; dozens upon dozens of startled masked men flew to their death as he simply looked on.LBM 7: Nivek's Visitor
The unmistakable feeling of a familiar sudden surge of energy pulled Nivek back to reality. He looked up... and there was Marian. &

LBM 6: Nivek's MeditationThe lights were off in the small room, the blinds drawn so that only a sliver of sunlight cut across the floor. The silence was broken only occasionally by the muffled sound of a bird's chirping. Nivek was sitting crossed-legged on his bed, meditating. Or trying to. Previously, meditation had come easily to him. But even with all possible distractions removed, Nivek still found himself unable to concentrate. Marian and Iris Maroon were orphaned at a young age. Their mother died shortly after Iris was born; their father joined her soon after. Marian was thus the one responsible for supporting and protecting her younger sister on their nomadic travels. Then, just as the money was starting to become an issue, t

LBM 4: Nivek's DreamNivek opened his eyes just as the sun broke over the horizon. Beams of golden sunlight filtered in through the window, coming to rest on the sleeping form beside him. Her breathing was slow and rythmic, causing a thin strand of her yellow hair to sway with every exhale. Nivek gazed at her in quiet admiration.LBM 4: Nivek's Dream
The next moment, he was standing in a placid hallway, gently easing a door open. He quietly entered the hushed room. A tender smile crossed his face as he examined the simple crib and its tiny occupant.
Another moment, and he was pouring a chilled carton of milk over a small bowl of cereal. Shuffling footsteps a
